Penn State football’s Blue-White weekend has arrived. Here’s what you need to know
The Blue-White game has arrived and the event should once again bring people from all over to Happy Valley. The annual game marks the end of spring practice and the last time fans will be able to see the Penn State football team take the field until its season opener against Purdue on Sept. 1 in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The free event begins at 2 p.m. Saturday at Beaver Stadium — with gates A and B opening at 12:30 p.m. — but there will be more to check out in addition to the game.
We have everything you need to know if you’re attending, or how to watch if you plan on staying at home.
Parking
Parking passes are entirely mobile for the day, and fans who do not have a pass will be charged $20 for a pass on the day of the game. Spots are available on a general admission basis and the normal traffic patterns that fans follow on gamedays will not be in effect for Blue-White weekend.
RV lots will be open with Saturday night passes costing $60 and Friday-Sunday passes costing $100.
All purchases can be made with credit card or cash.
ADA lots will be reserved in Lot 18, Lot 31 and Lot 41.
Pregame activities
Adding to the atmosphere before Saturday’s game will be the Blue-White Boardwalk Fan Fest, which will include carnival games and rides, along with food and other carnival-type activities. The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will take place on Curtin Road. Games will require cash, but food can be purchased with credit card or cash.
How to watch
The spring game will air live at 2 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
