Topgolf has arrived at Penn State’s Beaver Stadium. Here’s a look and what to know
Beaver Stadium is occupied this weekend by something other than football. Topgolf Live will be in the stadium from Thursday until Sunday with reservations still available.
Topgolf is a golf game that will feature targets on the field at Beaver Stadium, ranging from 60-140 yards away from the tee box. Balls hit by players are tracked with toptracer and immediately scored as part of the game. Food and drinks will be available during the experience in Beaver Stadium’s Mount Nittany Club.
The opportunity to play this weekend requires a reservation for a bay and spots are still available for all four days, with the most available on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at www.gopsusports.com/topgolflive.
Each bay fits six participants, and participants will be paired with other golfers if they do not reserve all six tickets.
Tickets will reserve a one-hour time frame to play and will cost $40 during Penn State student hours (Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday and Sunday, 8:40 a.m. to 9:40 a.m.), $80 for non-peak hours (Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 4:40 p.m), $90 for peak hours (Thursday, 4:50 to 10:30 p.m.; Friday, 4:50 to 11:40 p.m.; Saturday, 9:50 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. and 8:20 to 11:40 p.m.; Sunday, 9:50 a.m. to 8:10 p.m.) and $10 for spectator tickets.
There is also an Unrivaled Experience Package that costs $185 still available on all four days, but only one is available for Saturday.
The package includes a stadium tour, a complimentary Penn State White Course greens fee, two drink tickets, a limited-edition Topgolf Live hat, a complimentary Topgolf lifetime membership and a game play $10 voucher.
