Penn State football earns spot in AP Top 25 poll after win over Ohio
The Nittany Lions have returned to the AP Top 25 poll.
Penn State moved to No. 22 in Sunday afternoon’s poll after being unranked in last week’s poll, following their 46-10 win over Ohio at home. The Nittany Lions have moved to 2-0 to begin the season.
Penn State had 271 voting points this week, 111 more than No. 23 Pittsburgh and five less than No. 21 Texas. The Nittany Lions will travel to Auburn on Saturday to take on the Tigers.
Penn State is one of four teams from the Big Ten in the AP Top 25 poll. The others are No. 3 Ohio State, No. 4 Michigan and No. 11 Michigan State. The full rankings can be found below:
