Penn State moves up in AP college football rankings after White Out win over Minnesota
Penn State jumped three spots to No. 13 in the latest AP Top 25 college football rankings.
The Nittany Lions bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 45-17 White Out win over Minnesota on Saturday.
The top six teams in the poll remained unchanged, as they all won or were on byes.
Penn State received 783 voting points, 17 more than No. 14 Utah and 20 fewer than No. 12 UCLA.
Ole Miss took the biggest plunge in the rankings, falling eight spots to No. 15 after losing to LSU. Wake Forest joined Penn State in making the biggest moves up, as both advanced three places.
Four Big Ten teams are ranked in Sunday’s poll. No. 2 Ohio State is joined by No. 4 Michigan, No. 13 Penn State and No. 17 Illinois. The full rankings are below.
