Penn State football will open a fall camp practice to the public. Here’s how to attend

Penn State fans will have an opportunity to watch the Nittany Lions in action before the 2023 football season gets underway.

In a rare move, the program will open a fall camp practice to the public Saturday. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. practice, which will take place on the Lasch practice fields. Fans can enter either at the entrance on the University Drive side of the field or the entrance on the front side of Holuba Hall, facing the East Area Locker Building.

Parking will cost $1 per hour in the Stadium West parking lot and can be paid for on the ParkMobile app using zone number 95112.

The practice is expected to last for two hours.

Before the open practice, from 5:35-6:20 p.m. in Holuba Hall, an autograph session will be held for members of the program’s name, image and likeness (NIL) collective, Happy Valley United. Memberships to the collective can be purchased at HappyValleyUnited.com and cost a minimum of $25 per month.

Members of the collective will need to bring their membership card if they have one and may bring one adult guest and any children 18 years old and under. Members without a card will need to arrive early to check in.

If fans need to sign up at the door, they can be assisted in doing so as long as they have a smartphone and a credit card with them.

The Nittany Lions will open the season in Beaver Stadium Sept. 2 when they take on West Virginia at 7:30 p.m.
