The best place to watch the game when the Nittany Lions hit the road, according to readers
Penn State football hits the road Saturday for the second time this season. If you don’t want to watch the game against Northwestern from home, where’s the best place to go to see it?
Earlier this month, we asked CentreDaily.com readers to choose their favorite restaurant or bar to watch the Nittany Lions when they’re out of town. Of the 60 votes cast, 29 were for Champs Sports Grill on North Atherton Street.
Spring Township’s Axemann Brewery took second place, with 11 votes.
Other spots with plenty of TVs and fellow fans include Primanti Bros., Local Whiskey, Pickle’s, Doggie’s, Robin Hood Brewing, We Are Inn, Federal Taphouse, Otto’s, HiWay and Quaker Steak & Lube.
The poll ran from Sept. 11-27 and was just-for-fun and not scientific.
