Penn State kickoff time set for first matchup with USC since Rose Bowl in 2016 season

Penn State’s first trip to the West Coast for a conference matchup in the new Big Ten has a kickoff time.

The Nittany Lions’ matchup with USC on Oct. 12 will kick at 3:30 p.m. ET (12:30 p.m. PT).

The game will air on CBS.

USC is currently ranked as the No. 11 team in the country and the game could be a top ten matchup if the Trojans take care of business against Minnesota on the road Saturday and No. 7 Penn State does the same against UCLA.

The Trojans are currently 3-1 on the season with a loss to Michigan in Ann Arbor as their only blemish.

The matchup between USC and Penn State will be the first since the Rose Bowl in 2017 when the Nittany Lions fell 52-49 after winning the Big Ten title that season.
