Penn State quarterback Drew Allar was present and taking reps Wednesday at Holuba Hall during the portion of practice that the media was allowed in to see.
Despite that, Allar and Dani Dennis-Sutton — who wasn’t seen Wednesday — are still game-time decisions for Penn State’s Saturday afternoon matchup with the Buckeyes.
“At this stage, no new information for you guys,” Penn State head coach James Franklin said following Wednesday’s practice. “But so far so good. Getting both (backup quarterback) Beau (Pribula) and Drew a ton of reps in practice.”
Allar participated in the drills the media was present for, occasionally taking the first rep and occasionally going second behind Pribula.

Allar injured his leg against Wisconsin Saturday, leaving for the locker room early before halftime. He did not return to the game.
Pribula finished out the matchup and led the Nittany Lions to the 28-13 win over the Badgers.
Saturday’s game will kick off at noon in Beaver Stadium, with Penn State’s official availability report set to be released by the Big Ten around 10 a.m.
