Penn State will keep its spot in the top five of the Associated Press Top-25 poll after beating Purdue, 49-10, on the road Saturday afternoon.

The 9-1 Nittany Lions are ranked No. 4 in the latest poll, which was released Sunday afternoon. With no movement in the top five, they remain the third-highest ranked team in the Big Ten. Oregon and Ohio State are in the top two spots and Indiana is ranked No. 5.

Illinois is the only other ranked Big Ten team, at No. 24.

Penn State had 1,319 voting points, eight more points that Indiana and 94 fewer than No. 3 Texas.

Penn State was also ranked No. 4 in last week’s College Football Playoff rankings, earning it the No. 6 as it looks to make the playoff for the first time. With only two weeks left in the regular season, the next CFP rankings will be released Tuesday.

The Nittany Lions’ last games of the regular season are at 3:30 p.m. Saturday against Minnesota on the road, and then back to Beaver Stadium on Nov. 30 against Maryland.
