Penn State kickoff time and network set for senior day matchup with Maryland

Penn State’s regular season finale has a kick time.

The Nittany Lions’ senior day game on Nov. 30 against the Maryland Terrapins will start at 3:30 p.m. and air on the Big Ten Network.

The matchup at Beaver Stadium could be the game that solidifies the program as a College Football Playoff team and give PSU one more home game in the playoff.

Penn State is currently ranked as the No. 4 team — and as the No. 6 seed — in the country by the College Football Playoff selection committee, with a new batch of rankings set to come out Tuesday. The No. 5-8 seeds will all host a home playoff game in the first round.

The Terps are unranked and have struggled this season. They’re 4-6 overall and 1-6 in the Big Ten, with their only conference win coming by one point at home against USC. They will need to win at home against Iowa Saturday and in Beaver Stadium to earn bowl eligibility.

The Nittany Lions will play their final road game of the regular season Saturday when they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers at 3:30 p.m. That game will air on CBS.
