Penn State’s Blue-White game will look different this year. Here’s what to know

The ongoing Beaver Stadium renovation project has forced Penn State to make some changes for the 2025 Blue-White game.

From parking to everything in the stadium to events outside it, here’s everything you need to know ahead of what the university has called a “non-traditional experience” due to construction and other factors. Saturday’s spring game starts at 2 p.m. at Beaver Stadium, and could be shorter in length because the game will not be broadcast on TV — meaning there won’t be any required TV timeouts.

Parking and pregame

The only parking lot impacted by construction is a portion of Lot 18. Those impacted will have a spot in Lot 14 and those with RV spots will be moved to the overnight RV lot. Passes for all season ticket holders were distributed with their 2024 season tickets. Those passes are only applicable to the lot and spot they are listed as.

Fans with a general pass can park in lots 12, 22, 34, 38, 39, 45, while preferred passes can park in lots 13, 32, 43 or 44.

Parking can be purchased on gameday with a credit card for $20 for a regular pass or $60 for an RV or bus pass.

There will be no one-way traffic pattern in the lead-up to Saturday’s game, and lots will open at 8 a.m.

Penn State will have a “block party” on Curtin Road running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be concession stands, free activities and a chance to sign a steel beam that will be a part of the west side of Beaver Stadium when the renovation project is completed. Team arrival is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Inside Beaver Stadium

There will only be two gates open for entrance to Beaver Stadium on Saturday — Gates A and E. Those will open at 12:30 p.m. while club and suite entrances will open at 11 a.m. ahead of the 2 p.m. start for the game. The university’s bag policy will be in place.

Seating, which is first come, first served, is only available in the north, south and east sides of the stadium. Restrooms on the west side, like the seating, will be closed.

Concessions will be available between Gate A and Gate E in the stadium.
