Here’s where Penn State’s undrafted free agents will begin their NFL careers

The 2025 NFL Draft wrapped up Saturday night with five Penn State football players getting drafted — Abdul Carter, Tyler Warren, K.J. Winston, Jaylen Reed and Kobe King.

But they aren’t the only former Nittany Lions who have found homes at the next level. Let’s look at where each undrafted free agent from Penn State ended up following the draft.

Where did they sign?

Sal Wormley — Jacksonville Jaguars

Julian Fleming — Green Bay Packers

Coziah Izzard — Kansas City Chiefs

Jalen Kimber — Tennessee Titans

Who has the best chance to make the team?

While most undrafted free agents face long odds when it comes to making a roster, playing on special teams can help anyone’s cause. That’s why Kimber has the best shot with the Titans. He has elite speed, giving reason to believe he can be helpful at cornerback, but also making him a potential gunner on special teams. That should help him, while Fleming’s physicality, high motor and strength could give him some value in the same role with the Packers.

Wormley and Izzard will have to make their biggest impact in the trenches and show they can be backups on the line of scrimmage to make their teams. Both are plausible, with Izzard having the type of athletic upside that could earn him a spot with the Chiefs.
