Penn State opened up Beaver Stadium to the public Saturday for the team’s home opener against Nevada — marking the first time most people saw the under-construction venue since the renovation project began in the offseason.
There’s plenty to see, with an updated beer garden outside Gate F, new temporary seating on the west side and in the east corners, and new LED signage in the stadium. The entire renovation project — which could cost as much as $700 million — won’t be completed until just before the 2027 season, but a lot of changes have already taken place.
Here’s a look at what’s new inside Beaver Stadium.
