Penn State football coaches to give Spring Chalk Talk

In about a month, high school and middle school coaches will get to discuss X’s and O’s with James Franklin and the Penn State coaching staff.

The Penn State Football Spring Chalk Talk, set for March 18 and 19, gives attendees an up-close look at the Nittany Lions’ spring preparations. The weekend includes a glimpse of the team’s first two spring practices. A dinner with the Penn State coaching staff follows the first practice on March 18.

Check-in begins at 3 p.m. in Holuba Hall. The Chalk Talk and social begins at 8 p.m. in the Lasch Football Building, where coaches can speak with Franklin, who is entering his third year as head coach, and his staff.

Coaches can register through the Penn State Sport Camps website. The event is not open to players.
