Penn State football announces 2016 game themes, Stripe Out to return
Penn State Athletics has released its themes for football games during the 2016 season, including the return of the Stripe Out and White Out games.
The Nittany Lions will “stripe out” Beaver Stadium for the second year in a row when Temple comes to town on Sept. 17 and will hold their annual White Out game against Ohio State on Oct. 29.
The athletic department also announced that season ticket pricing will remain the same, starting at $360 per seat.
Other home game themes are as follows:
▪ Kent State, September 3: Youth Football, Cheer and Dance Day; Scout Celebration (season opener)
▪ Minnesota, October 1: Blue Band Jam; All-University Day
▪ Maryland, October 8: Homecoming; Varsity ‘S’ Day; Celebrate Agriculture
▪ Iowa, November 5: Military Appreciation Day; Seats for Service Members
▪ Michigan State, November 26: Senior Day
