Penn State hockey’s David Goodwin, football’s Tyler Davis sharing inspiration

Penn State hockey captain David Goodwin has become good friends with Penn State kicker Tyler Davis after taking classes together, and the pair trade text messages before their games.

“I tell him, ‘Just keep kicking the ball between those two yellow things,’” Goodwin joked. “He tells me, ‘Keep putting the puck between the two red things.’ It’s working out well for both programs.”
