Penn State women’s hockey drops conference game to Syracuse

Penn State was in good shape leading by one goal heading into the final period on Saturday.

However, Syracuse came alive for a four-goal third period to top the Nittany Lions 4-1.

Abby Welch scored the lone Penn State goal with 9:30 left in the second period. Daniela Paniccia had 30 saves for the Nittany Lions.

Allie Munroe (2), Laurence Porlier and Brooke Avery tallied the Orange’s goals.
