Penn State goalie Eamon McAdam picked up the No. 1 star for the Big Ten’s weekly three stars Tuesday morning.

McAdam made 30 saves for his first career shutout in a 4-0 win against Vermont at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center on Sunday. It is the junior’s second weekly conference honor, picking up the No. 3 star on Jan. 13 of last season.

The No. 19 Nittany Lions (8-2-3) host Michigan State on Friday and Saturday at Pegula Ice Arena to start the Big Ten season.
