NHL teams invite 8 Nittany Lions to camps

Eight Penn State hockey players are training with NHL teams this summer at a variety of development camps.

Among the group are current Nittany Lions Zach Saar, who will work with the Ottawa Senators; Vince Pedrie, with the Anaheim Ducks; and Chase Berger, with the Detroit Red Wings. Incoming freshman Nikita Pavlychev will work with the team that drafted him last year, the Pittsburgh Penguins, while Brandon Biro will work out with the Edmonton Oilers.

Former Nittany Lions Luke Juha and Eamon McAdam will take part in activities with the New York Islanders, while Eric Scheid will work with the Florida Panthers.
