For the sixth straight year, Penn State women’s soccer has advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament, following a Friday win over West Virginia.

The No. 2 seed Nittany Lions shut out No. 7 seed West Virginia, 4-0, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Jeffrey Field.

The Nittany Lions will host No. 3 seed Virginia on Sunday at 5 p.m. on Jeffrey Field, with the winner advancing to the Elite Eight.
