Penn State men’s soccer: Bersano selected Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week

Penn State men’s soccer goalkeeper Matt Bersano earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors Tuesday.

Bersano finished with seven saves in the Nittany Lions’ 1-1 tie with Ohio State in double overtime.

It is Bersano’s second weekly award from the conference this season.

Penn State (3-1-2) takes on Penn in Philadelphia on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
