Penn State women’s soccer: Nittany Lions tie Nebraska

Emily Ogle’s goal in the 82nd minute rallied Penn State to a 1-1 tie with Nebraska on Friday night.

The No. 12 Nittany Lions held a decisive 18-6 advantage in shots, but couldn’t convert until Charlotte Williams sent the ball from deep toward the end line to Ogle near the middle of the box, who redirected the ball into the top left corner for her second tally of the season.

Caroline Flynn’s goal 5:38 into the game accounted for the Cornhuskers’ scoring, and the only shot on net by the team against keeper Britt Eckerstrom.

Penn State (6-2-2, 1-1-1 Big Ten) heads to Iowa on Sunday.
