Penn State men’s soccer: Nittany Lion goalie Finney records shutout in first start of season

Penn State goalie Evan Finney made five saves in his first start of the season to lead the Nittany Lions men’s soccer team to a 3-0 win over Loyola Marymount on Wednesday night.

Connor Maloney, Kyle MacDonald and Sam Bollinger each scored goals for the Nittany Lions. Penn State’s Brian James and Drew Klingenberg each had assists.

Loyola Marymount goalie Vince Paldino finished with three saves.

Penn State (6-6-2) returns to action at Wisconsin at 8 p.m. Saturday.
