Penn State men’s soccer: Nittany Lions to take on Michigan State in first round of Big Ten tournament
The Big Ten tournament bracket was announced Wednesday.
Penn State earned the No. 9 seed and will face eighth-seeded Michigan State in the first round Saturday at 1 p.m. in Columbus, Ohio. The winner advances to the quarterfinals to take on top-seeded Ohio State in the quarterfinals Sunday at 4 p.m.
Other quarterfinal matchups set for Sunday include: fourth-seeded Rutgers vs. fifth-seeded Northwestern (1 p.m.), third-seeded Maryland vs. sixth-seeded Michigan (1 p.m.) and second-seeded Indiana vs. seventh-seeded Wisconsin (1 p.m.).
The semfinals will be Friday, and the championship game will be Nov. 15 at 1 p.m.
