Four Nittany Lions earn postseason accolades

On Wednesday, four Penn State players were named to the TopDrawerSoccer Best XI Teams, highlighted by senior midfielder Raquel Rodriguez being tabbed the Player of the Year.

Rodriguez was also named to the Best XI First Team. The Costa Rican international recorded six goals in 2015, including the game-winner in the national championship on Dec. 6.

In addition to Rodriguez, sophomore Emily Ogle was named to the Best XI Third Team, and defenders Ellie Jean and Kaleigh Riehl were named to the Freshman Best XI Teams.

Jean is a second-team honoree, and Riehl received a first-team nod.
