Chandler, U.S. U20s claim CONCACAF Championship
Rose Chandler notched her third consecutive shutout to lead Penn State to its fourth-straight CONCACAF Under-20 Women’s Championship on Sunday night.
Chandler recorded a pair of saves in a 1-0 win in the championship matchup against Canada.
After allowing two goals in a 2-2 tie against Mexico in the tournament opener on Dec. 4, Chandler would yield just one goal through the remaining four matches of the tournament.
For her performance, Chandler was awarded the Golden Glove award, given to the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
