PSU men’s soccer assistant coach hired by Pitt

Penn State assistant coach Michael Behonick has been hired as an assistant coach by Pittsburgh, Penn State announced in a press release Friday.

Behonick spent two seasons as an assistant for the Nittany Lions.

“Michael is going to work for a longtime friend of mine, (Pitt head coach) Jay Vidovich,” Penn State coach Bob Warming said in the release. “Mike is a great choice for Jay as he works to build the Pitt men’s soccer program. Mike worked hard here at Penn State and we appreciate the effort he put forth to try and improve the program. We wish Michael the best.”
