PSU women’s soccer ranked No. 2 in nation

The Penn State women’s soccer team is ranked No. 2 in the country in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America preseason poll, which was released Tuesday.

The defending national champion Nittany Lions sit behind Florida State in the poll. The first-place votes were split by Florida State (18), Penn State (10) and Duke (two).

The Nittany Lions host No. 6 West Virginia in their season opener Aug. 19.
