Penn State men’s volleyball slated No. 2 in EIVA preseason poll

The Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association coaches made their preseason picks on Monday.

The Penn State men’s team, which saw its string of 18 straight EIVA championships snapped last year, was selected to finish second. Reigning EIVA champion George Mason, led by former Penn State assistant coach Jay Hosack, was chosen No. 1.

The Nittany Lions received one of the eight first-place votes. St. Francis was selected No. 3.
