Penn State’s Seifert earns conference honor

BRONXVILLE, N.Y.

Penn State’s Matt Seifert was named the EIVA Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Seifert recorded seven blocks in the No. 10 Nittany Lions’ five-set loss to No. 5 UCLA last Friday.

Penn State (1-1) returns to action at No. 3 Loyola at 7 p.m. Thursday.
