Penn State had a huge offensive night to knock off Princeton 25-13, 21-25, 25-17, 25-19 Friday night.
In the No. 11 Nittany Lions’ first road game since Feb. 13, Penn State hammered away on offense with a .500 hitting night, making just 12 errors. Aidan Albrecht’s 15 kills and four aces, and Chris Nugent’s 14 kills led the way. Spencer Sauter added 11 kills and five blocks, and Matt Seifert had 10 kills and seven blocks. Royce Clemens collected six digs and Taylor Hammond gave out 51 assists.
Kendall Ratter’s 23 kills led the Tigers (3-15, 3-7 EIVA).
Penn State (15-7, 8-1), which won the blocking battle 11-5, visits New Jersey Institute of Technology on Saturday.
