Ohio State sweeps past Penn State men’s volleyball

The Ohio State men’s volleyball team swept the match 3-0 Tuesday night and the season series from Penn State at St. John Arena.

The No. 2 Buckeyes capitalized on the No. 11 Nittany Lions’ erratic play for the 25-22, 25-20, 25-18 victory, the team’s 15th straight win.

Ohio State won in five sets at Rec Hall in March.

Chris Nugent’s 10 kills, Matt Seifert’s nine kills, Royce Clemens’ seven digs and Taylor Hammond’s 37 assists led Penn State (16-8), which hosts Harvard on Friday.
