Penn State’s Bo Nickal named Big Ten Wrestler of Week

Penn State’s Bo Nickal received Big Ten Wrestler of the Week honors Tuesday.

Nickal, ranked No. 2 in the country, pinned No. 5 Sammy Brooks of Iowa in 38 seconds in their 184-pound bout Friday night. Nickal helped the No. 2 Nittany Lions beat the No. 3 Hawkeyes 26-11.

Nickal has a 12-0 record this season with 10 pins.

Penn State (8-0) faces Wisconsin on the road at 8 p.m. Friday.
