Here’s where Penn State wrestling ranks in NWCA poll after weekend wins over Rider, Lehigh

Penn State has continued to hold on to the top spot in NWCA Division I Wrestling Coaches Poll, following victories over Rider on Friday and Lehigh on Sunday.

The top five of the coaches poll released Tuesday is unchanged, with Iowa holding steady at No. 2, Ohio State sitting at No. 3, Arizona State keeping its No. 4 spot and Michigan rounding out the top five.

Iowa State and Missouri swapped spots, following the Cyclones’ 18-15 loss to No. 2 Iowa. Minnesota sits at No. 10 and is one of five Big Ten teams in the top-10. Wisconsin (No. 11), Northwestern (No. 14), Nebraska (No. 16), Rutgers (No. 17), Maryland (No. 23) and Michigan State (No. 25) are the rest of the Big Ten teams in the top-25.

Penn State has seven wrestlers in this week’s individual InterMat rankings.
