PSU parking is changing for Friday’s ice hockey, wrestling events. Here’s what to know
With two hotly-anticipated Penn State sports events on Friday, the university is urging fans and commuters to expect heavy traffic around the Bryce Jordan Center and Pegula Ice Arena.
There are also some parking changes to know about, as Penn State Athletics announced earlier this month that Stadium West and Jordan East parking have been sold out for Friday’s men’s hockey game at Pegula and wrestling match at the BJC.
Friday night’s men’s hockey game against Notre Dame is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Pegula Ice Arena and the Bryce Jordan Center is set to host Penn State wrestling vs. Michigan at 7 p.m.
Prepaid parking is available at the East and Eisenhower decks through ParkMobile.
There will be limited parking at Stadium West and Jordan East to fans with a valid Penn State parking permit. It will be on a first-come, first-served basis, according to a news release.
Below are more details on parking for the events.
Where to find day-of-event parking
Penn State’s Stadium West and Jordan East will require ParkMobile prepayment or a valid Penn State parking permit. Day-of-event parking sales will only be accepted from fans with a state-issued ADA placard or license plate.
Porter North parking will be reserved for fans with a valid Penn State permit.
Nittany Deck day-of-event parking will be available for $10. There will be no shuttle service offered from the Nittany Deck, but CATA Loop or Link service will be available free of charge.
Details on ParkMobile prepayment
Fans are allowed to prepay for ParkMobile events at a discount of $5.50 through Thursday at 11:59 p.m. and at a rate of $10 on Friday until 4:30 p.m. at psu.parkmobile.io. Fans who do not have a valid Penn State permit or have not prepaid will be directed to park at the Nittany Deck.
Fans who have not prepaid by that time and do not have a valid Penn State permit will be directed to park at the Nittany Deck. Fans will have to present their ParkMobile prepayment bar code on their mobile device or a permit that is printed from ParkMobile’s website for prepaid access to the parking areas.

ParkMobile’s season parking package for wrestling doesn’t include the BJC Dual events. Parking for both events must be bought separately.
The ParkMobile season parking package for men’s hockey is still valid for fans who bought it, however.
ADA parking
Penn State will have ADA parking at Stadium West — at the southwest corner near the University Drive and Curtin Road intersection and Jordan Easter — which sits in a small section adjacent to the Penn State All-Sports Museum and along the northernmost row along Curtin Road. It sits between gates A and B at Beaver Stadium.
Fans parking in these lots will be required to have a state-issued ADA placard or license plate, to go with a valid Penn State permit, ParkMobile prepayment, or day-of-event cash payment. The fans who have a state-issued ADA placard or license plate who prepay for parking at the East or Eisenhower decks are also allowed to park at Stadium West or Jordan East
