In just under a year, some of the best wrestlers in the country will gather in State College to determine who represents Team USA in the Olympics.

Penn State will host the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials at the Bryce Jordan Center from April 19-20 in 2024.

The winners of the team trials will be eligible to represent the United States in the 2024 Olympics in Paris later that summer.

The team trials will feature 18 weight classes — six men’s, six women’s and six in Greco-Roman. This will be the second time the trials have been held in Pennsylvania, with the first being when the U.S. Freestyle Olympic Team Trials were hosted in Pittsburgh in 1992.

Next year’s event will mark the sixth time all three wrestling teams will hold their trials in the same event. The tradition began in 2004 in Indianapolis.

Ticket information for next year’s team trials will be announced on May 9.
