Penn State wrestling welcomes Wyoming to BJC with coach Cael Sanderson aiming for 250th win
It’s been two years since a team from the western part of the country has come to Happy Valley.
On Sunday, No. 1 Penn State will take on Wyoming for one of its last competitions before Christmas break begins. Nittany Lions coach Cael Sanderson will look for career coaching win No. 250.
The dual was moved from Rec Hall to the Bryce Jordan Center as the women’s volleyball team takes on Creighton in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
The Cowboys come to town without a couple of their big guns in Jore Volk (No. 7, 125 pounds) and Joey Novak (No. 14, 197). However, Gabe Willochell (No. 22, 149) will get a chance to wrestle closer to home as he is a Greater Latrobe graduate.
