Happy Valley lived up to its namesake Friday night, as No. 1 Penn State wrestling trounced No. 2 Iowa by a score of 30-8 to keep its dual winning streak alive.
The Nittany Lions have now won 66 duals in a row, with their last dual loss coming five years ago on Jan. 31, 2020, to none other than the Hawkeyes.
A sold-out crowd of 15,998 watched Friday’s PSU win at the Bryce Jordan Center in what tied the highest indoor dual attendance in NCAA history. Unsurprisingly, the other two duals with identical attendance also involved Penn State-Iowa at the BJC, in both 2023 and 2018.
