Philipsburg-Osceola girls’ cross country team runs well in loss

Philipsburg-Osceola had three runners among the top six finishers, but an incomplete team led to a 15-50 loss to Mount Union on Tuesday.

McKenzie Rogers led Mount Union and all runners in 24 minutes, 16 seconds for the 5-kilometer race.

The Lady Mounties were paced by Kristein Bennet’s 24:48 to finish second, followed by Samantha Bainey (fifth) and Lindsay Bordas (sixth).
