Penns Valley tops Bellefonte in girls’ soccer

The Penns Valley girls’ soccer team edged Bellefonte 1-0 on Wednesday night.

Abby Martin scored the game-winning goal on an assist by Dayna Brown.

The Lady Rams outshot the Lady Red Raiders 12-5.

Bellefonte also fell 6-2 to Huntingdon on Tuesday.

Mallorie Smith and Leah Simmon each scored goals for the Lady Red Raiders in the loss to the Bearcats. Bellefonte’s Gabbie Pighetti made three saves.
