Tyrone blanks Philipsburg-Osceola in boys’ soccer

Blake Johnston led Tyrone to a 2-0 win over Philipsburg-Osceola on Wednesday.

Johnston assisted on a goal by Ryan Vance in the 58th minute before finding the back of the net on a free kick to make it 2-0 in the 73rd minute.

Philipsburg-Osceola outshot Tyrone 17-9.

The Mounties host Bald Eagle Area at 10 a.m. Saturday.
