Altoona edges Bellefonte in girls’ soccer

Bellefonte couldn’t find the back of the net in the second half in a 2-1 loss to Altoona on Thursday.

Mallorie Smith scored the Lady Red Raiders’ lone goal off of an assist by Kara Bates. Megan Vigne and Paris Haugh each scored in the first half to send Altoona into halftime with a 2-1 lead.

Bellefonte goalie Gabbie Pighetti had six saves.
