CCCA falls to Walnut Street Christian in girls’ soccer

A 61st minute free-kick goal was the difference between Walnut Street Christian School and Centre County Christian Academy as CCCA fell 2-1 on Thursday night.

Sara Peters scored both goals for Walnut Street with her first goal coming in the 29th minute. CCCA’s Ashley Kerstetter tied the game with a goal in the 35th minute.

Peters then scored the winner in the 61st minute on a free kick.

CCCA (2-2) will host Blair County Christian at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
