State College girls’ soccer falls to Central Dauphin

State College came up short 2-1 against Central Dauphin on Thursday.

Haley Luckenbill and Cami Karnash scored for Central Dauphin in the 13th and 74th minute, respectively.

State College’s Kelly Mejia brought the score back to 2-1 with a goal in the 76th minute, assisted by Zoe Wicks.

The Lady Little Lions couldn’t knot things up despite outshooting Central Dauphin 16-10.

Ali Wicks and Shannon Lear combined to make four saves in net for State College.

The Lady Little Lions (4-5) travel to Hollidaysburg on Monday.
