Philipsburg-Osceola sweeps Tyrone on volleyball court

Philipsburg-Osceola defeated Tyrone in three sets 25-12, 25-18, 25-17 on Thursday night.

Mollie Maguire led the attack for the Lady Mounties with seven kills, while Annie Kost had 18 assists. Mackenzie Welker had three blocks and Sadie Granville anchored the defense with 13 digs.

The Lady Mounties (7-3, 3-2 Mountain League) head to West Branch’s tournament Saturday.
