Bald Eagle Area girls’ soccer splits at tournament
After dropping its first game, Bald Eagle Area won a shootout against Moshannon Valley in the third-place game of its BEA Tournament on Saturday.
The Lady Eagles fell 2-0 to Central Mountain in its first game of the tournament. BEA goalie Charlee Harris made four saves in the loss.
Kiersten Walker scored a goal to help BEA tie Moshannon Valley 1-1 in the third-place game. The teams went to a shootout, and the Lady Eagles won 4-1, getting goals from Walker, Julia Cingle, Zoey McHenry and Madelynn Holderman.
BEA (4-4) returns to action at Bellefonte on Tuesday.
