Bailey paces P-O girls’ cross country in pair of wins

Sam Bainey finished first with a time of 25:16 to lead the Philipsburg-Osceola girls’ cross country team to wins over Bald Eagle Area (21-34) and Tyrone (15-50).

Bald Eagle Area beat Tyrone 15-50.

Kristen Bennett (third, 26:29), Megan Kosut (fifth, 27:55) and Kyra James (sixth, 28:09) led P-O.

Caitlin Taylor was BEA’s top finisher, taking fourth with a time of 26:44.
