Philipsburg-Osceola girls’ cross country handles Bellefonte

The Lady Mounties beat an incomplete Bellefonte 15-50 on Tuesday.

Amber Shirey, the only runner for Bellefonte, won the 5-kilometer race in a time of 22 minutes, 22 seconds.

The top finisher for Philipsburg-Osceola was Kristen Bennett, who finished second in 25:54.

Samantha Bainey (third), Megan Kosut (fourth), Lindsey Bordas (fifth) and Adina Clasen (sixth) were the rest of the Lady Mounties’ top finishers.
