Penns Valley girls’ soccer edges Bellefonte

Hannah Denger scored the winner for Penns Valley (7-3, 6-3 Mountain League) as it defeated Bellefonte 1-0 on Tuesday.

Denger scored the in the 62nd minute.

Penns Valley coach Jeff Denger was impressed with the team’s victory.

“Both teams fought hard until the end and both laid it all out there,” Denger said. “The Lady Rams got to ring our victory bell for the first time this year.”

The Rams’ next game will be at home against Philipsburg-Osceola on Wednesday.
