State College falls in PIAA girls’ golf sub-regional

The Lady Little Lions failed to qualify for the the PIAA Championships, falling short to Erie McDowell on Thursday at Treasure Lake.

McDowell had a team score of 365 to top State College’s 394.

Claire Orr paced Erie McDowell with a 79.

Alex Voight-Shelley led the way for State College with an 87. Kaylee Richards (99), Kristen Nodell (101) and Maddie Czekaj (107) contributed to State College’s score.
